"As we have seen, Player, the UrQa were indeed involved with manufacturing the matrix, and now it is but a former shadow of what it once was. Such is the way with gifts from UrQa.
However, I think we can modify it to be useful again. One of the two ways to modify it would be to place a custom made distributor to split the crystals' resonance pulse into six manifolds which would allow each weapon to access the energy in parallel, meaning each would get access to the energy at the same time. This would allow much greater efficiency on energy usage."

"Of course, we'd have to build the distributor and canabalise an existing Matrix, but that shouldn't be an issue. The distributor needs to be made from the toughest material in the universe however, and precision timed, which needs the half life decay of a frozen blob."
