"These brigand attacks have been getting unbearable, they just showed up out of the Mutara a month ago! I used to think the Volcom were bad, but these "Black Hole Brigands" have practically taken over Deep Space!" says an unnerved Officer Johansson.
"I can't tell you if they really do use black holes for weaponry, but I can tell you they might as well. Their attacks are deadlier than anything I've seen!" She pauses for a moment, calming down. "That's why we've been requesting parts from their wrecks. If you can bring down some of those Brigand or Brigand Wingships they use, you might be able to find something they use to explain their source of strength."

You can find some of them guarding the Fuel Platforms on the way to the Voyager's Last Stop station, but you will likely not see them until they start attacking you first.
