Regardless, since you are the first visitor that I have had in a long time, perhaps you can help me." Professor Logan escorts you to a large room with a series of what seem to be spirits trapped by a containment field. "You see Player, I research the supernatural, the paranormal ... spectral beings. Noticing that spirits seemed to flock to this place, many years ago I came here and constructed this facility. Since then, there is much I have found out about our ethereal form, their strange energies, and seemingly mystic powers! I could go on and on about all I have learned but let me be direct. My research has been halted due to the escape of five research subjects, ghosts of course. More than likely after their escape, they will have possessed pilots so they can perhaps take care of their last regrets and pass on, but this would lead to a most dire calamity for science! If you would, try to find these missing spirits for me, I was on the brink of a crucial breakthrough in harnessing their spectral energies! I could perhaps reward you if you complete this task for me?

What seem like hours pass, and eventually an even more disheveled Professor Logan returns. "HAHAHAHAHAHA, I have done it! I have done it Player. I have melded the spectral energies of a spirit into the hull of a ship! Yes, just wait until the Mad Scientist hears about this one, he might even invite me up for a burger! Oh, and do not worry about the spirits I used to do this, now that they are trapped within that ship, they will never be able to pass on to whatever the hell awaits after death ... ahem, I mean the death AFTER death! That means you will never have to worry about your new craft! Hmm? I didn't tell you yet? Yes, I am giving you my prototype. Now that I know how to trap the souls of the dead and harness their powers, I can create all manners of ghastly and wonderful devices! Just head to the docking bay, your new ship is there", says Professor Logan right before wandering off mumbling about what horror he's going to concoct for the newest spirit he's captured.
